Pickup Mansion

This morning I got a few emails with questions about Pickup Mansion. I had mentioned it briefly in yesterday's email, and so I should probably go into more detail since people have questions.

Most of the people who wrote in were asking some variation of “What exactly goes on in the Pickup Mansion?”

Good question!

Well it varies somewhat, depending on the student, but here's some of the general things that go on:

1- Everyone lives within a 5 minute walk of bars, clubs, and day-game spots. This makes going out easier. On those days where you're feeling less motivated than usual, it's easier to get out the door knowing that you don't have very far to go. You don't have to get in your car, drive around, pay for parking, etc. You just walk out the door and you're gaming before you know it. It's pretty painless. This causes students to get in good habits where they are going out to practice all the time.

2- Everyone around is you on on the same mission! In Pickup Mansion, you'll be surrounded by guys who are trying to accomplish a lot in life. They are making major changes and moving forward every single day. They are improving with women, in their professional life, in their relationships, and they are forming friendships that will last a lifetime. When everyone around you is improving all the time, that will help you to stay motivated on improving.

3- The vibe is *exciting.* People come to Pickup Mansion from all over the world. They are walking into what could very well be the best year of their entire life. They're living in a sweet house with perfect modern décor, hot tub, projector TV, perfect weather, huge indoor/outdoor stereo system....you get the picture. Everyone is in the mood to do great things. Everyone is excited to be there. As the success grows around you, and people are picking up more and more girls, you can't help but get swept up in it.

4- You get the best coaches. This weekend, the coaches for Pickup Mansion are Jake, Glenn P, and me (Brad P). This is the ultimate dream team of coaches. This is only the 2nd time we 3 have taught together. Glenn, Jake, and I are the most in-demand coaches for pickup and dating, so it's hard to get all 3 of us in the same spot.

5- You always get coaches who are legit, and pick up girls all the time. These guys have been doing pickup for many years. They teach from real experience. They've seen it all when it comes to pickup. When deeper problems come up like depression, grief issues, or relationship, I am there to provide the personal guidance. I have a long track record of working in the mental health field, working as a socail worker, and I can give you direction if you have problems that no one else has been able to help with.

6- You see coaches every week. We have weekly theory sessions where you can absorb new lessons and ask any question you want. Jake runs most of them. I teach some of them myself also.

7- Workshops every month. We do a workshop every month and look closely at your game. We diagnose what's working and what's not, and we give you specific things to work on. We know all about you, since we have you for a full year. So there's no “starting over” with a new coach who has no idea what you're up to. The coaches and I use a private intranet system to keep track of each student's progress. Every coach in the UDS organization reads the progress reports.
